How it started
Business software is cumbersome, expensive, complicated to set up and frustrating to use. Countless hours are wasted customizing software solutions and often expensive professional services are needed to get everything working. In the end, the solution is so complex that companies have to hire full-time employees just to manage the software. The Freshworks founders had a similarly negative experience in customer service when they wanted to have a broken television repaired. As a result, they started developing user-centered customer service software and officially founded Freshdesk, which is now part of the Freshworks product suite.
