Cloud Engineer
Full-time & permanent position | Starting immediately

As a Cloud Engineer*, you will act as a technical contact person and work closely with our customers
to provide them with optimal support on their journey to the cloud. This involves analyzing existing
systems, defining migration strategies and setting up and adapting the environment in the cloud for
the customer. You will help customers to overcome technical and organizational challenges when
moving to the Google Cloud and train the various teams in how to deal with them. Your challenge is
to optimize and automate the cloud infrastructure for the customer so that the operation of network,
virtual machines, containers or other cloud technologies becomes even easier.

Your role

• You take over the implementation of cloud infrastructures and systems in the areas of identity and access management, network, server operation and monitoring and support automation via IaC (terraform)
• You are responsible for the implementation of hybrid system architectures
• You train our customers on cloud technologies by creating concepts and supporting their implementation
• You contribute your ideas to the development of proof of concepts
• You create automations using Infrastructure as Code or CI/CD pipelines to bringapplications to life
   

What you should bring with you

• You have a degree in computer science, mathematics or similar with a focus on infrastructure management, network technology, security or similar
• You already have experience in infrastructure operations (ideally in cloud technologies) and in working with customers
• You have basic knowledge of routing, networks, server systems and operations
• You have already had initial contact with the areas of automation and container technologies
• Open source projects, ideally with Kubernetes, are not new territory for you

Cloud Architect

As a Google Cloud Architect*, you will act as a technical contact and work closely with our customers
to provide them with optimal support on their journey to the cloud. You will analyze existing systems,
identify strategies and design and implement new architectures. You will help customers to overcome
technical and organizational challenges when introducing new technologies and train the various
teams in how to use them. Your challenge is to determine the best technology for the respective use
case from a variety of modern cloud options and to implement it accordingly as part of a proof of
concept and then support it in the go-live.

Your role

• You take on the design of cloud solutions for customers
• Creating concepts and presentations for companies is part of your work
• You use your expertise to advise our customers on solution architecture
• You are responsible for building proof of concepts and support the implementation of cloud systems
• You will also be responsible for analyzing existing application landscapes and creating migration strategies
• You actively contribute your ideas to the design, consulting and implementation of security concepts
   

What you should bring with you

• You have a degree in computer science with a focus on infrastructure management, network technology or security
• You have already gained experience in consulting (preferably in cloud technologies) and in working with customers
• You have a basic knowledge of routing, networks, server systems, container technologies and software development processes
• You are familiar with open source projects
• You are no stranger to the field of automation
• Ideally, you have already had your first contact with the Google Cloud Platform

Software Engineer Cloud

As a Software Engineer* Cloud you act as a technical contact person and analyze existing systems,
